Yes—absolutely. You can get a sample swatch of the metal finish for that urban bench, and I’d actually recommend doing it before you commit to a full order. A real swatch lets you see the exact color, sheen, and texture under your own lighting, which a website photo or PDF finish chart can’t fully capture.
If you’re looking at one of our standard powder coat colors, we typically ship small finish swatches within 2–4 business days. For custom or architectural metal finishes, we may need 5–7 business days to prepare a matched sample, especially if you’re trying to coordinate with existing site furniture, railings, or paving tones. Some premium or textured finishes may have a small sample fee, but that fee is usually credited back to your bench order.
When you request the swatch, tell us the bench model and the finish code or name. If you don’t have a code, send a photo or a reference color—our team can pull close matches and mail two or three options so you can compare them side by side. I also suggest checking the swatch outdoors at different times of day, because a matte charcoal or weathered steel finish can shift quite a bit in direct sun versus shade.
For larger streetscape or campus projects, we can also provide a larger finish sample panel or a physical finish ring with the full urban bench metal finish collection.
