Yes—if you are dealing with uneven paving, cracked concrete, or a slight slope, adjustable feet are the simplest way to stop a street bench from wobbling. We offer them as a standard option on most of our commercial street benches, and they can also be retrofitted to many existing models.
Each adjustable foot works like a small leveling jack. The bench leg has a threaded insert, and the foot is a heavy-duty stainless or zinc-plated steel stem with a swivel pad at the bottom. You turn the foot clockwise or counterclockwise with a wrench to raise or lower that corner. Most of our feet give you about 25–30 mm of adjustment, which is usually enough for cracked sidewalks, tree-root heave, brick paving, or minor slopes. Because the pad swivels, it stays flat on the ground even when the leg is at a slight angle, so the load is spread evenly and the bench does not rock.
For sites with more than about 30 mm of height difference, we recommend adding a wider base plate or using a heavy-duty leveling foot with a longer threaded stem. If the bench is being installed on soft ground, we also suggest a surface-mount anchor plate or buried footing, because adjustable feet alone will not stop sinking.
The short answer: yes, our street benches can be ordered with adjustable feet, and they are worth the small extra cost. They make installation faster, reduce callbacks for wobble complaints, and keep the bench feeling solid for years. If you send us a photo of the site or tell us the height difference between the highest and lowest points, we can confirm which foot option will work best.
