Great question — and one we hear often from landscape architects and property managers. Yes, our park benches are designed to be easy to relocate if you redesign the plaza later. The key is choosing the right mounting style at the start. For maximum flexibility, we recommend our relocatable park benches with surface-mounted, bolt-down feet. You simply unbolt the bench, patch the small anchor holes, and move it to a new spot. There’s no need to break up concrete or pour new footings. Our modular bench system uses standard base plates and interchangeable components, so the same modular park benches can be reused as outdoor furniture in a new layout. You can adjust leg spacing or add backs and armrests when the plaza redesign changes the flow. If you know a redesign is likely, avoid in-ground or poured-in-place concrete frames. Instead, specify surface-mounted benches. They’re sturdy enough for daily public use but much easier to relocate later. Send us your plaza plan and we’ll help you choose a relocatable configuration that won’t lock you in.
