Yes—many of our street benches can be ordered with a graffiti-resistant coating, and it is one of the most practical upgrades we offer for public spaces. If you are dealing with repeated tagging on site furniture, the short answer is that we offer a proven anti-graffiti coating as an option. The slightly longer answer is that not every bench comes with it as standard, so it helps to know what the coating does and when to choose it.
Our heavy-duty outdoor benches are typically built from steel or aluminum with a weather-resistant powder-coated finish. On request, we add a clear or tinted anti-graffiti topcoat that makes spray paint, marker ink, and sticker adhesive much easier to remove. Instead of scrubbing the base finish or repainting the whole bench, maintenance crews can usually wipe the surface clean with a mild solvent or pressure washer. That saves parks, transit stops, school campuses, and downtown districts a lot of time and money.
I always tell customers to think about location first. If the bench will sit in a high-visibility, high-traffic area with a history of vandalism, the graffiti-resistant coating is worth the small additional cost. For lower-risk settings, our standard powder-coated finish still provides excellent durability against weather and everyday wear. We can also match the coating to common RAL or custom colors, so you do not have to sacrifice design for protection.
One thing I want to be clear about: a graffiti-resistant coating is not magic. It does not stop someone from tagging the bench. What it does is prevent the paint or ink from bonding tightly to the surface, which makes removal fast and less damaging. For the best results, we recommend cleaning graffiti within 24 to 48 hours. The longer it sits, the harder it can be to remove, even with a protective layer.
If you are specifying benches for a streetscape, campus, or commercial development, ask us about adding anti-graffiti protection to your order. We can quote it as an option on most of our metal street benches, and we are happy to send finish samples or technical data sheets. Just tell us the location and the level of risk, and we will point you to the right bench and coating combination.
Let me know if you need a specific model, size, or color. I can also explain how the coating holds up against common cleaning chemicals if that helps your maintenance team plan ahead.
