If you choose our installation service, here’s what typically happens. We start with a quick site check to confirm the surface type—poured concrete, pavers, asphalt, or compacted ground. Then our team drills anchor holes, sets the bench in place, and uses galvanized or stainless steel hardware to secure it. For in-ground mounting, we dig footings, pour concrete, and make sure the bench sits level and is safe for public use. We regularly handle outdoor bench installation for parks, streetscapes, schools, HOAs, and commercial properties, so we’re used to meeting local safety and ADA clearance requirements. Most standard urban bench installations take about one to two hours per bench once footings or anchors are ready.
That said, many of our customers do choose the DIY route, especially for surface-mounted benches on existing concrete. Each bench ships with a clear installation guide, a hardware kit, and a template for marking hole locations. If you have a hammer drill, a masonry bit, a socket wrench, a level, and a tape measure, you can usually install a surface-mount bench in under an hour. For in-ground benches, DIY is more involved because you’ll need to dig holes, mix and pour concrete, and brace the legs while the concrete cures.
